The Area
The hotel venue
Our hotel is just outside the walls of St. Remy de Provence in the heart of the Apilles, the birthplace of both Nostradamus and Vincent Van Gogh.
We are just steps away from the heart of town with the thriving square hosting restaurants, cafes and the famous Wednesday morning Markets. Our hotel has a pool with views of the Apilles in distance. During your free time, stay by the pool or book a service in its residential spa! |
Imagine waking up to the beauty of St Remy, the scent of freshly baked croissants and figue pie all ready for you after your refreshing yoga class!
You're ready to stroll the streets and live the 'Joie de vivre'! |
The Yoga

We will have yoga once or twice daily of course, to be able to help you get into your body and into your soul, to allow for reflection, journaling, and to put yourself on a new conscious course. There will be life coaching mixed in with yoga, meditation, journaling, and breath work to balance you out in just the right way.
Bringing in balance to your day - Keeping you really present - to tap into your creativity again.
Bringing in balance to your day - Keeping you really present - to tap into your creativity again.

This time is perfectly planned at the right times to take some time out, to stretch, process and reflect through meditation and yoga that weaves in journaling, yoga and daily introspection. This gives you space to be able to have your own epiphanies around yourself and what’s next in your life - to integrate your outer experiences and reflect on the inner experiences - to be able to really embody this experience and make choices that you can take back into your life.

When you leave the retreat - you will carry in your heart all of the experiences and self-awareness that you have found this week. You will be given tools to 'shine your belle lumière' and ready to live your life with this new found awareness and bring it to others - it’s contagious!
If you are a beginner - no worries! Classes are fulfilling for beginners and teachers alike - from gentle to yin to power! Sherry has been teaching for over 17 years and makes classes accessible for all levels - meeting you where you're at, honoring your body - yet giving giving you the challenge that you need to go beyond your comfort zone.
* Participation in classes and activities is optional throughout the retreat. All levels welcome!

Your Retreat Leader - Sherry Smith, Life Coach & E-RYT500

In my early to mid 20’s I felt like I had to deal with much more than the average 20 something year old - dealing with my only sister’s death in 1993, divorce in 1997, and my new husband’s illnesses in 2002 and 2004. In addition, I was in a corporate job that was draining my energy and moving me further away from who I was. My corporate job was in the travel industry which was fun once upon a time, but after Sept. 11th, it became much more corporate and almost cut throat at that time. Yoga helped me process and rise above my heartbreak and challenges and find new purpose and inspiration for my life, gave me courage to make necessary changes, and find happiness again. I left my corporate job and began working at the renowned Moffitt Cancer Center as well as teaching yoga. That was over 16 years ago and I have never looked back!
Retreat Journeys has come to fruition through the love of my own yoga practice, my wanderlust travel roots, and my my passion towards helping you find your purpose and life inspiration. It an honor to create these life changing experiences for you and a privilege to guide you on this inner and outer adventure of a lifetime. See you in Provence!

I try not to have a day go by without affecting the world in a positive way. Our life is short - it's so important we do what we're passionate about and serve the world and humanity at the same time. The world needs more of our unique gifts and skills. It's our job to find out what it is and do that! :)
